Samsung is not done yet with its Galaxy Unpacked launch events. It just recently took the wraps off the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G (series) and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G earlier last month. And now, the Korean giant phone maker will hold another event on 23rd September to unveil the long-rumored and most waited by galaxy fans the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (or the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE) at a virtual Samsung Galaxy launch event.
As you can see in the invite above image, this event is an ‘Unpacked for Every Fan’ and that’s a strong enough hint for the upcoming arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition). Another strong hint will have to be the multi-colored phone-shaped renders in the above invite. This seen looks very similar to the leaked colorways of the Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition), i.e. Red, Lavender, Green, White, Blue, and Orange. You can check out all the invites in the official Samsung website blog post right here.
Galaxy S20 Fan Edition: Rumored Specs & Features
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is said to be a successor of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite from earlier last year. The Galaxy S20 FE rumored specs don’t suggest that it will be a lighter variant of the existing Samsung S20 flagships.
The German giant publication WinFuture.de has been already shared the keynote specs of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE). The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset in 5G-supported countries while those in other locations will have to settle with the little-bit underpowered and unpopular Samsung Exynos 990 chipset once again. In Indian smartphone market will most likely get the bit underpowered and unpopular Samsung Exynos variant with 4G support. It will be paired with the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, as per the report.
Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) is said to feature a 120Hz refresh rate on a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is a centered cutout punch-hole, most likely packed with a 32MP selfie sensor, on the front.
