Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom Confirmed to Launch in India on June 25

To end the mystery, Realme has confirmed today that the Realme X3 series will launch in India on 25 June. The company first unveiled the Realme X3 SuperZoom in Europe last month. And now, it is ready to launch not only the SuperZoom variants but also the Vanilla Realme X3 in the country.

Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India took to Twitter moments to reveal the launch date, which is a week before today. The tweet caption reads – “The X you have been waiting for is here!” We are not only bringing you 60X SuperZoom but also Super Speed with our new flagship #realmeX3 & #realmeX3SuperZoom. ”

The teaser poster features a front panel with a dual-cam punch-hole cutout and a 60x digital zoom feature. This confirms that Realme will launch the same Realme X3 SuperZoom as the global version, without any tweaks as recently rumored.

Realme X3 SuperZoom: Specs and Features

The Realme X3 SuperZoom has a 6.6-inch full-HD + LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20: 9 aspect ratio, and 1080 x 2400 resolution. It has a dual-camera punch-hole cut-up at the front and is similar to the Realme X50 Pro flagship. To get some amazing selfie clicks, you get a 32MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

The smartphone has been powered by Snapdragon 855+ chipset since last year. It is in Europe with 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. You can expect Realm to launch as a low-end variant in India as well (to attract the public to OnePlus). The X3 SuperZoom includes a VC cooling system and runs the Android 10-based Realme UI out-of-the-box.

The quad-camera system on the rear is provided by the 64MP primary sensor. It will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, 8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom, and 60x hybrid digital zoom and 2MP macro camera. The device also supports 30W Dart charging, which can digest a 4,200mAh battery in about 55 minutes, Realme claims.

Vanilla Realme X3 will also make its debut with the superzoom variant. However, there is no information about what it will bring in tow. Madhav Sheth has dubbed it as Realme’s next flagship phone in India, but they could mention the Superzoom variant.

Price and Availability

No pricing for India has been leaked so far. But, as I anticipated during the Europe launch of the device, the Realme X3 SuperZoom 12GB + 256GB variant priced at 499 euros (about Rs 42,900) can come under Rs. 35,000 in India.

The Realme X3 and X3 Superzoom should go on sale sometime in the first week of July. Are you excited about this Realme X2 Pro upgrade or not? Is there a lack of AMOLED display to change your purchase decision? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
