After many delays due to nationwide lockout, the much-awaited Realme Narzo lineup has been unveiled in India today. This includes Narzo 10, the first MediaTek Helio G80-powered phone to land in India, and the Narzo 10, which is basically a minor upgrade to the Realme C3.
Realme Narzo 10: Specs and Features
The device consists of a polycarbonate fabricated with a matte finish real panel that has carried forward the design philosophy of Japanese designer Noto Fukasawa. We saw this gradient pattern in the Reality X Master Edition earlier last year. You will get a quad-camera array and physical fingerprint sensor on the rear, as well as a waterdrop notch display on the front. This is Realme 6i which was unveiled a few months back.
The Narzo 10 sports a 6.5-inch HD + LCD display with 20: 9 aspect ratios, 89.8% screen-to-body ratio, and 1600 x 720p resolution. And just to exclude it, it is not a high refresh rate screen. The top houses have a 16MP f / 2.0 selfie camera.
Narzo 10 is the first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset to launch in India.
Under the hood, the gaming-focused Helio G80 chipset runs the show and scores over 200,000 in the AnTuTu benchmark test. This is comparable to the Snapdragon 665 chipset in the budget segment. Tor has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage but you can expand it up to 512GB via dedicated microSD card slot.
Realme Narzo 10 runs the company’s own Realme UI software skin based on Android 10 out-of-the-box. It also includes a massive 5,000mAh battery pack with 18W fast-charging support via a USB Type-C port on board.
Finally, the Realme Narzo 10 helm is equipped with a quad-camera array with a 48MP sensor. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, 2MP macro lens with 4cm focus distance, and 2MP mono lens.
Realme Narzo 10A: Specs and Features
Along with the Narzo 10, the company has also launched the Narzo 10A for entry-level users. This is actually a minor upgrade to the Realme C3, which debuted in India in February. This is essentially a rebranded version of the Indonesian version of Realme C3, but with a subtle new design.
Realme Narzo 10A has a 6.5-inch HD + LCD display, which is similar to Narzo 10. The aspect ratio and resolution are the same as above. It is powered by the Helio G70 chipset, which is also found on the Realme C3 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
In addition to the 12MP primary lens and 2MP portrait lens found on the Realme C3, the Narzo 10A includes a 2MP macro lens to round the kitty. There is a 5,000mAh battery on board with 10W fast-charging support.
Price and availability
The price of Narzo 10 is kept at 11,999 for the single 4GB + 128GB variant. It will be available in two color variants, namely Green and The White. It will go on sale from May 18 on Flipkart and Realme’s online stores.
On the other hand, the Narzo 10A is priced at Rs. 8,499 for a single 3GB + 32GB variant. It is priced slightly above my expectations. In addition, an additional Rs. 1,000 for only one macro lens on Realme C3. All other specifications are the same as Realme C3. This extra value is not worth asking.
The Narzo 10A will be available in two color variants, namely So Blue and So White. The sale of 10A will begin on May 22 at Flipkart and Realme’s online stores. So, are you planning to get two new Realme Narzo phones? Tell us in the comments below.
