OnePlus will launch its much talked about mid-range smartphone in July 2020. As long-rumored as the OnePlus 8 Lite, the device will be launched as the OnePlus Z, the company’s first Mid-One OnePlus X Monster. The Range device debuted back in 2015. “OnePlus Z” Rumoured
The name “OnePlus Z” Rumoured and the July launch date were tweeted on Tuesday by tech journalist and noted tipster, Max J. As can be seen below, the image in the tweet suggests that the device can ship with a focused punch-hole camera upfront unlike the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, both of which have their selfie-camera cutouts on top.

Note that this is not the first time we are hearing about a mid-range OnePlus device for this year. Earlier reports also suggested that it would have a perforated punch-hole display upfront with a triple-camera setup at the rear. Either way, there is no word on the technical specs or feature set for the upcoming handset, but we hope we get more details in the coming days.
With flagship OnePlus smartphones priced higher than their earlier generations, the so-called OnePlus Z is likely to offer the OnePlus experience at a more affordable price for consumers who can’t afford the extra money on the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro Huh. So, do you want to see OnePlus launching a new mid-range smartphone? Or would you like them to stick to their ‘Never Settle’ motto and perform very well despite the price-tag?
