Nearly two months after the Redmi Note 9 series was unveiled in India, Xiaomi is now ready to upgrade its popular budget offers globally. The company is launching the Redmi Note 9 series tomorrow, along with the standard Redmi Note 9, possibly tomorrow. But, Xiaomi has confirmed today that we have another surprise in tow. It is the long-lasting Mi Note 10 Lite, which will also be unveiled in Europe tomorrow (30 April).
Chinese giants went to global community forums to reveal this surprise. The announcement was made with a teaser poster that shows the Mi Note 10Lite alongside its older siblings, launched last year. For the unknown, the Mi Note 10 was the first phone to feature a 108MP Penta-Camera Array. “Are you ready for Dream Big and Shoot Epic?” Xiaomi says in the forum post.
The front panel of the Mi Note 10 Lite looks similar to its older siblings. However, the rectangular camera bump seems inspired by the Oppo Reno 3 Pro. We also take a first look at all the colorways, namely white, black, and purple.
Mi Note 10 Lite: Rumored Specs
Talking about the specifications, the Mi Note 10 Lite is expected to have a 6.47-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with curved edges on both sides. You can also see a waterdrop notch at the top but there is no word yet on the selfie camera specs.
Like its elder brother, this smartphone will also be powered by Snapdragon 730G chipset. This means that it does not support 5G connectivity. The ship is rumored to have up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is rumored to be sticking to the Penta-camera system, but the render only shows the quad-camera setup. It does not feature a 108MP primary sensor. Instead, it will include a 64MP primary sensor with an ultra-wide telephoto and a macro lens.
You will find a very large battery (like 5,260mAh – Mi Note 10) with 30W fast-charging inside this smartphone. It will also have a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and an in-display fingerprint sensor onboard.
