Realme Watch: Specs and Features
Starting with the design, it is in line with renders leaked earlier last month. While those showed the body in colors other than black, it seems that the Realme Watch will come in a gray-gray-metallic finish body.
You’ll find a 1.4-inch color display on the front (not sure if its LCD or OLED panel). There is a huge Realme logo below the display and it seems highly unnecessary. The company could have included a larger display instead of branding on its front. However, it may be a cost-cutting measure to offer smartwatches at an affordable price in India.
You will be able to swap bands and choose from four colors, ie start with black, red, blue and olive green. Signature Realme Yellow Color Band is missing in action here. We’ll have to wait and see if the company actually stops on the yellow strap. Also, in the image above, you can see that Realme Watch will initially come with a classic clasp. However, it will debut a modern and fashionable strap down the road.
The Realme Watch will have 14 sport modes, heart rate tracking, blood-oxygen-level monitoring, notification support, and more. The company has built its smartwatch software instead of going ahead with Google’s WearOS. You will also see call notifications on this watch so that you can mute or cancel them. There is no mic or speaker onboard, so you cannot answer calls on Realme Watch.
Apart from this, Realme Watch will also bring music playback controls and camera shutter shortcuts on your wrist. The company seems to have spent a ton of time building some essential features for its smartwatch. First Look of Realme Watch
Now, this is a lot of information for an unrelated product – one that defeats Xiaomi upon entering the smartwatch space in India. Xiaomi has launched the Mi Watch and Mi Watch Color in China in the last few months. But neither has made its way to India. Realme Watch is just a week away from launch, so it is possible that the company will share more about this device in the coming days. So, stay connected with TUBEXTECH for more information.
