The Taiwan giant smartphone maker, Asus has finally launched its latest flagship smartphones – Asus ZenFone 7 and Asus ZenFone 7 Pro. The Asus ZenFone 7 Series is the successors to the company’s wild motorized flip camera phone, Asus ZenFone 6 (Asus Zenfone 6z in India). It brings along the exact same design, an upgraded flip camera module with triple camera sensors, and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC chipsets in tow.
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro includes the same clean design as its predecessor Asus ZenFone 6 (Asus ZenFone 6z in India). The device have a fullscreen bezel-less display on the front and a motorized flip camera mechanism on the rear and it also works as a selfie camera. It’s just that the motorized flip camera module is now a bit bigger and one additional sensor.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED Display with an HDR10+ certification, Delta E < 1, and a 90Hz refresh rate display panel. The device gets a fullscreen bezel-less display with no notches or punch-holes on panel, the same as its predecessor Asus ZenFone 6 (Asus ZenFone 6z in India). Though you have an AMOLED display in tow here, Asus ZenFone 7 Pro sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC Mobile Platform latest and flagship chipset – in line with the rumors. The device also have up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage onboard and the RAM or built-in Storage are latest and premium/flagship. It runs out-of-the-box ZenUI 7 based on Android 10.
The highlight of the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro will have the triple motorized flip camera mechanism setup on the rear. It houses a primary 64MegaPixel Sony IMX686 (f/1.8) sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), coupled with a (Sony IMX363 sensor) 12MP ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The telephoto camera also supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and up to 12x digital zoom capability, it’s amazing.
The most amazing camera setups out there, especially since it can also be used to capture some stunning selfies with a triple real camera sensor. Asus again lets you adjust the angle at which you want to use the Asus ZenFone 7’s motorized flip camera, which is great for getting some different style of photos and video shots into the mix. The smartphone offers you 1080 @ 240fps, 4K @ 60fps, 8K @ 30fps video recording capabilities, the device also comes with a Hyper Steady Mode for stable video capture.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro comes equipped with a massive 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging support via the USB Type-C port. Asus can charge your device up to 60% of the battery in about 35 minutes, that is amazing.
Asus ZenFone 7
There’s not much to talk about the Asus ZenFone 7 as it is exactly the same smartphone as Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, just with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC Mobile Platform chipset rather than the overclocked 865+ variant. The display, which was earlier rumored to be an IPS LCD Display panel one, and is also the same 90Hz AMOLED panel as the Pro variant.
The Asus ZenFone 7 except for the chipset one, everything including the triple motorized flip camera mechanism setup, massive battery, and hardware remains exactly the same. You can’t go wrong with either of the two variants, exactly the same aspect a bit Processer and display down.

We expect it to be priced slightly lower than the exorbitant prices of the device (possibly due to higher taxes) in its home country, Taiwan.
